BREAKING: Atiku Abubakar Speaks On Dumping PDP To APC For 2023 Presidential Election

Atiku Abubakar GCON is a Nigerian politician and businessman who served as the Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. Since the return to democracy, Abubakar has contested in all the elections but he could not succeed.

Atiku Abubakar has responded to recent comments related to Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, who claimed that the former Vice President will return to Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Since 1993, Atiku Abubakar has unsuccessfully contested six times for the Office of President of Nigeria in 1993, 1998, 2007,2011,2015, and 2019. In 1993, he contested the Social Democratic Party, presidential primaries losing to Moshood Abiola and Baba Gana Kingibe. In 1998, he showed interest in contesting for the presidency United Nigeria Congress party losing out to General Sani Abacha, who forced all the five political parties then to endorse him.

He was a presidential candidate of the Action Congress in the 2007 presidential election coming in third to Umaru Yar’ Adua of the PDP and Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP. He contested the presidential primaries of the people’s Democratic Party During the 2011 Presidential elections losing out to incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan

Atiku Abubakar dumped the ruling APC in 2018 ahead of the 2019 presidential election which he contested on the platform of the PDP and lost to incumbent President Buhari under the APC, Party.

Bamgbose, a senior lawyer in Lagos, makes a comment that Atiku to return back to APC. One does not need an oracle to tell us that Tinubu’s presidential ambition has hit the rock.

But reacting to the claim through a tweet by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Paul Ibe, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said, “Mr. Olusegun Bamgbose’s so-called ‘seeing’ is delusional, possibly induced by cerebral malaria, and requires immediate intensive medical help.

With this understanding, Atiku has failed several times for the post of Presidency, Can he makes it if he Dumping PDP to The ruling party APC.
