I didn’t say you should go and fight Igbo people No, they do not do Rivers anything- Wike

According to reports, the governor of Rivers State, Gov. Nyesom Wike recently held meeting with the Youths And CDC Chairmen.

The governor however recounted on the mayhem which have been happening in Rivers State, and attributed the carnage to hoodlums suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

In his statement, he said that he can’t fold his arms and watch the hoodlums cause all this Mayhem in the state. He explained that Rivers State is a peace loving State, nobody should cause trouble in the State. Allow us to remain the way we have been. Anyone can carryout business but should cause trouble in the state.

He further warned the youths that he haven’t said that they should fight with the igbos.

“I didn’t say go & fight Igbo people. No, they did not do us anything. Igbos are good, loving, peaceful people but there are criminal elements that call themselves IPOB you must identify” he said.
