The Anti-graft Commission, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), has declared Ramoni Igbalode, a.k.a Hushpuppi wanted over a series of suspected cybercrimes committed by him and his teams.
EFCC made this statement through their Twitter page on Thursday.
Hushpuppi was arrested on June 10 in the United Arab Emirates in connection with a $35million ventilator scam.
“Nigerian most wanted hacker “Ramoni Igbalode alias Hushpuppy recently investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the International Police has considerable cybercrimes being investigated by the EFCC.
“The commission is familiar with grisly details of money laundering cyber transactions involving many high profile cyber criminals facing trials in Nigeria”.
